Swim Clinic Coaches

Jim Burdett is an Ironman Certified and British Triathlon Level 2 coach. He regularly competes and has represented the GB age group team at triathlon and duathlon. He recently medalled at the World Duathlon Championships and was previously National Age Group Duathlon Champion. He has 5 Ironman finishes to his name including second place in age at Ironman UK and has raced at the Ironman World Championships in Kona. 

Lucy Ashdown-Parkes is a swimming teacher, club coach and cofounder of Laguna Swim School.  She holds ASA Level 2 qualifications in Teaching Aquatics, Level 2 in Coaching Pre-fundamentals, and Level 2 in Coaching Swimming.  Having completed two Ironman distance triathlons, Lucy's passion is open water swimming.  She is an ASA Level 2 Open Water Coach, and an STA/ NOWCA Open Water Coach.
